The M.B.H.A. is based in California's Morongo Basin, serving the communities of Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley, Joshua Tree, and 29 Palms; as well as the neighboring communities of Desert Hot Springs and Palm Springs.
The M.B.H.A.'s goal is to promote horsemanship through educational programs and events, and to bring together horsemen from around the region for the fun and enjoyment of our sport and our desert horsemen's lifestyle.

August 21: evening Gymkhana and MBHA general meeting. sign up 5pm, start 6pm. Meeting right after events are over.

October tentative: Gavin and Kathy Jordan would like to do another Extreme Cowboy Race Event, including an overnight camp-out (see news page for details). If you are interested in the CAMPING portion, please let them know at geronimoranch@hughes.net

December 18: Year-end party for Gymkhana

MBHA Arena Rules:
1. Riders under 18 must wear approved helmets. Proper attire must be worn.
2. No running horses on the grounds.
3. Children must be supervised at all times.
4. Do not tie horses to arena or trees.
5. No riding on road.
6. No alcohol on premises.
7. Anyone handling a horse on the grounds must sign a waiver.
