members attend monthly meetings and events.
We welcome anyone interested in horses and horse-related news
and activities to join us! Memberships are $20 for individuals
and $30 for families, Stop in at any event or meeting to join!
Members of the M.B.H.A. may submit a free ad to
be included in the for sale/trade section of our website.
Members are also welcome to submit personal
stories, news items and brags!
Meetings
Our meetings are held the 4th Thursday of
each month, at 7pm, at the Yucca Mesa Community Center, 3133
Balsa Rd. on the mesa. *Note: for
June, July, and August of 2010, we are trying something new!
We will be meeting on the thrid Saturday of the month, immediately
following the gymkhana event that day. Please come join us!
From 29 Palms, Joshua Tree: Take
29 Palms Highway (Route 62) west through Joshua Tree. Turn right
at the light onto Yucca Mesa. Continue on to Aberdeen Avenue,
go left. Turn right on Balsa, there is a small sign for the
Yucca Mesa Community Center at the intersection of Balsa and
Aberdeen. The Community Center will be on your right.
From Morongo Valley, Yucca Valley:
Take 29 Palms Highway (Route 62) east. Turn
left at the light at Old Woman Springs Rd. (Route 247). Continue
on to Aberdeen Avenue, go right. Turn left on Balsa, there is
a small sign for the Yucca Mesa Community Center at the intersection
of Balsa and Aberdeen. The Community Center will be on your
right.
From Palm Springs, Palm Desert:
Take the I-10 west towards LA, exit onto
Route 62 (Joshua Tree, 29 Palms, Yucca Valley). Follow 62 up
the hills into Yucca Valley. Turn left at the light at Old Woman
Springs Rd. (Route 247). Continue on to Aberdeen Avenue, go
right. Turn left on Balsa, there is a small sign for the Yucca
Mesa Community Center at the intersection of Balsa and Aberdeen.
The Community Center will be on your right.
